Interested in joining/starting a small group that spends quality time talking about God and being in fellowship together…over a game of VOLLEYBALL?!?

AFUMC's Adult Co-ed Indoor Volleyball League will begin its next session on Thursday, March 25 and YOU are invited!  We’re hoping to mix volleyball matches with 10-15 minutes of small group devotions - getting you into game shape both physically and spiritually.  All ability levels are welcome, and you may register individually or with a team.  Cost is $10 per player for the 8-week session (scholarships are available).

NEW Adult Fitness Classes In The Line-Up For March!

Fitness classes at the Christian Life Center (CLC) will be offered for only $5 per month.  This fee gives you access to unlimited classes throughout the month and will be collected the first week of fitness classes.  We continue to encourage you to pre-register for the classes you definitely plan to attend in order to ensure adequate space is available for our guests and individuals trying fitness classes for the first time.

Join us for an outdoor adventure at Springbrook Conservation Camp, for 3rd through 5th graders. This is an overnight camp with lots of fun outdoor activities. Cost is only $30.00 which includes lodging, food, and snacks. Space is limited, so please register early!  Registration closes June 30, 2010.

July 20-21, 2010 We will leave at 8:00am on July 20th and return at 4:00pm on July 21st. All participants must have a signed parental consent form returned to the church office in order to attend.

Space is limited to first 32 children.

Mini Mission Trips
for 5th & 6th Graders

Join us as we as we travel to different agencies in the Des Moines area to share the love of God and serve those in our community.  This year we will be going to Sunnyview, Millpond, Animal Rescue League, Trinity UMC & Bidwell-Riverside.

Mini Mission Trips are from 9:00am to 12:00pm Monday, June 14 Through Friday, June 18.
