AFUMC Endowment Fund

Gift planning is finding ways to make charitable gifts now or after your lifetime while enjoying financial benefits for you and your loved ones.  You can plan ahead so that your gifts benefit both you and your family, as well as the church that you love. AFUMC established an endowment fund a number of years ago so that you and others in the congregation can continue to be good stewards with the resources God blesses us with, long after our lifetime.

Providing a gift to the AFUMC endowment fund is a good way for each of us to say:
  • We believe in the future of the church
  • We want to be good stewards and use God's gifts to us to continue to benefit the church after our death
  • We want to build a sense of permanence in what we do
  • We want to "go the extra mile" in providing for church services and programs that formerly were only dreams, due to budget restraints
  • We want to create a heritage that future generations can celebrate as joyfully as we celebrate our rich heritage today
