Our youth music groups follow the school calendar and we have ended our programs for the 2010-2011 school year. Please mark your calendars to join us when our programs resume in late August 2011!"
Instruments of Peace is an orchestra for grades 6-Adults. They rehearse every Wednesday: early session from 4:10 - 4:35 pm; late session from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. Both sessions combine to play hymns one Sunday each month. Genesis is a youth praise team for grades 8-12. They rehearse every Wednesday from 8:00 - 9:00 pm and lead worship at ‘The Gathering' two times a month. They also perform at the 9:30 Uptown worship service as well as for various outreach opportunities. Young Prophets is our youth vocal choir for grades 6-9. Rehearsals are Wednesday mornings from 8:15-9:00am. They sing a variety of styles and sing in worship once a month. |
Heavenly Metal is a hand bell group for grades 6-12. Their music is challenging and fun. They rehearse every Wednesday from 5:00 - 5:45 pm in the Uptown Bell Room. This group usually performs the second Sunday of each month at the 11:00 Uptown service.
