"My sheep listen to my voice, I know them, and they follow me."
John 10:27

The Ewe'th Group is a fellowship, service, study and worship group for 6th and 7th grade youth. We meet each Wednesday from 6:30-7:45 at the Christian Life Center during the school year. To join us all you have to do is show up!

The mission of "Ewe"th Group is to know God and make God known. We work towards this by focusing one night a month on one of the following:

Service: "Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth." ~1 John 3:18

Just some of the service activities done in the past include-wheelchair basketball with handicap children, delivering poinsettias around the area, helping host the Fall Family Fun night, raking leaves, sending care packages to soldiers in Iraq, bingo or crafts at a nursing home, and much more.

Bible Hero: "For the word of God is living and active" ~Hebrews 4:12a

Each month we study a person from the Bible who faced a problem or situation that youth today still face. We'll look at Noah-teased by peers, David-faced a problem bigger than him, and others.

Tough Question: "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you." ~Matthew 7:7

The tough question gives our youth a chance to really think about what they believe. It's easy to believe something if everyone around you agrees, but what happens when you face opposition. If you have never thought about your beliefs how strong are their foundations? We asked questions like "Does God exist?" "Was Jesus really the Son of God?"

Outreach: "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?" ~Romans 10:14

Each month we try to have one week that is more laid back and relaxed. It is an opportunity for the youth to bring friends in to a non-threatening environment. We've do variety of activities like Old and New Testament Survivor, Jeopardy, and movie nights. While scripture is not ignored it is handled in more of a game based way.
